Needle Exchange Program
In collaboration with the Clark County Combined Health District, McKinley Hall provides naloxone at our One2One needle exchange program, located at the Springfield Soup Kitchen, every Wednesday from 1:00 pm. to 4:00 pm.
Also available at the One2One program is access to hepatitis A vaccines, pregnancy testing, HIV testing and treatment services.
A Peer Support Specialist works with those who visit the One2One Needle Exchange and provides linkage to services in the community. The Peer Support Specialist also helps to get participants engaged in treatment services, when they are ready.
During the first year the program exchanged over 11,000 contaminated syringes.
